Welcome to the Fourth Annual Keystone Conference, "A Celebration of Gender Diversity," hosted by TransCentralPA in Pennsylvania’s capitol city of Harrisburg!  You are in store for an informative, inspirational and joyous time among members and supporters of the Transgender community at the lovely Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey Hotel.

As the keystone bridges and holds together associated entities, Trans-identifying people do the same, and the Keystone Conference is a celebration of the unique diversity of gender and our central and unifying place in society. Pennsylvania is known as the Keystone State because of its significance in unifying the early colonies, and it is quite relevant that we hold this conference here in the state’s capitol, ideally located within an easy drive from six major east coast cities.

If you are a family member or friend of a LGBTQIA youth, this is a time to meet others like yourself, network and express your feelings in an environment of friendship.   Come and share your successes and challenges that both you and your loved one have faced so others may learn and grow.  This reception will be held in the Private Dining Room of the Dog & Pony Restaurant and Lounge.  So please stop by and visit, take part in the discussion and meet some new friends.  There is no cost and is open to everyone! Please RSVP at

Our Youth Program

We know that young people struggle with issues unique to their being transgender--because we sure did.  Education and socialization are two vital tools to help young people find personal satisfaction, gain acceptance and realize their goals of achievement…and we are providing both, here at the Keystone Conference, for transgender youth.

Continuing Education

Welcome licensed professional counselors, marriage therapists and social workers and therapists! Because your knowledge of transgender people is so important to our community, we want to help you further your knowledge of us.  To that end we are now co-sponsored with Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research to provide Continuing Education Credits for approved workshops at Keystone Conference 2012.

Our Helping Hand Program

Nervous?  Need a friend with a warm smile?  If you are feeling a bit faint-hearted, consider connecting with Keystone’s Helping Hand program.  These volunteers are here to answer questions and help put aside any fears you might have about facing the world as you take those first steps out of the 'proverbial closet.'  They can be your first contact here at Keystone and can help you get through that initial trepidation you might have. They are neither babysitters nor guidance counselors, but rather a friendly face with a warm heart that can give you good advice to get a good beginning.  If you feel you need a Helping Hand, please email us at HelpingHand@Keystone-Conference.org

Please contact us at info@Keystone-Conference.org if you have any questions.
