Ms. Caroline Voyles

Caroline is a second year DrPH student as well as the Director of Student Placement and Partnership Development at Dornsife School of Public Health at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. In her current student role, she is passionate about sexual and gender minority health and aims to research the way different communities integrate sexual/gender identities with other identities in order to influence health outcomes. She has particular interests in the intersections of athletic and LGBTQI identities and in LGBTQI disparities globally. Additionally, she has published on disparities relating to sexual and gender minority health funding. Prior to Drexel, Caroline received her B.A. in Psychology and Russian Language & Culture at Colby College in Waterville, ME, after which she spent time working in a Russian orphanage. Upon her return to the States, she served as an AmeriCorps member in New England and coordinated LGBTQI youth programs in Western Massachusetts before returning to the world of academia, where she intends to stay.
