Dr. Joel Beck is a board-certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who brings the highest standards of integrity and medical excellence to his patients, enhancing the natural beauty of their body, face and skin. A California native, Dr. Beck graduated magna cum laude with a degree in biochemistry from California Polytechnic State University (San Luis Obispo). He attended the University of California Irvine School of Medicine; was a resident in General Surgery at the University of California Davis, (East Bay) and served two fellowships—one in Burn Surgery Research at University of California, San Diego; the other in Craniofacial-Plastic Surgery at the University of Mississippi. Dr. Beck’s background in microsurgery and reconstructive surgery bring valuable insight to understanding anatomy, spatial relationships and healing—all critical in achieving outstanding results.

Widely published in medical journals in his areas of specialty, Dr. Beck is a world-renowned leader in his field and has lectured at the most prestigious surgical societies, associations and colleges since the early ‘90s. He frequently speaks on his customized abominoplasty technique.

In the media, Dr. Beck has been featured on the OWN Network, in an interview with Lisa Ling; and in Gentry magazine, to name one of several publications.

He is currently a member of in the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons; American Society of Plastic Surgeons; American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery; International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons; California Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.
