Prof. Kiki Wilson

Kiki Wilson is currently a communications professor at Fortis College and K. College. She is a public speaker, activist, and advocate who goes to various universities, conventions, businesses, and organizations to promote her most recent research series, "Conscious Communication. Her series facilitates open discourse to create new and improve existing communication strategies regarding people of color, LGBTQ individuals, bullying in the workplace, conflict resolution, leadership, and organizational communication.
Kiki has lived in a few different cities over the years and collaborated with independent theaters, filmmakers, and LGBTQ youth organizations. Her recognition of the challenges faced by women and other minorities, particularly in the field of education, demonstrates her commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Kiki supports the causes of people of color, LGBTQ youth, and disabled people by combining her love of learning and the arts. She has even previously helped a few LGBTQ organizations and organizations that support people with disabilities implement inclusion programs.
Lastly, Kiki was named the 2023 Blaque Out Magazine's activist of the year. She was also honored as a Distinguished Alumni of Finger Lakes Community College, where she studied, and inducted into the college's hall of fame for her exceptional activism and advocacy work.
