2026 Participant Biographies

With 36 years in the beauty and aesthetics industry, I have devoted my career to helping people feel confident, comfortable, and truly at home in their own skin. As the former co-owner of Jill and Bonnie's Hair Removal and Skin Clinic, I am now excited to open Luma alongside my daughter-in-law, Emma Schutte. Together, we are creating a welcoming space that combines advanced technology with compassion, inclusivity, and personalized care. Luma is opening Spring 2026

A meaningful part of my journey has been supporting transgender clients through their hair-removal and skin-care transitions. I consider it an honor to walk alongside individuals during such personal milestones — providing effective hair removal solutions while creating a safe, affirming environment where every client feels respected and celebrated.

In addition to electrolysis and laser hair removal, I am passionate about skin resurfacing treatments that help clients achieve smoother, healthier, more radiant skin. Whether it’s refining texture, addressing scarring, or enhancing overall skin confidence, my goal is always to deliver results that empower people to look and feel their best.

Being part of the transgender community’s self-care and transition journeys is deeply meaningful to me. Through Luma, I remain committed to offering expert treatments, ongoing education, and a welcoming space where authenticity and confidence can shine.
