2026 Participant Biographies

Dr. Stephanie Wong is a board certified health care professional (medical oncologist and hematologist), trained at UCLA, and contributed to a major breast cancer discovery leading to many new therapies for a deadly form of breast cancer.

She was born in Los Angeles to Chinese imigrant parents who fled mainland China during the communist revolution. Like many of us, she discovered her transgender self at an early age and struggled to figure out who she is and how to live a successful life with career, family and very active social life. She lives a bi-gender lifestyle, sort of boy by day, girl by night. She is the main organizer of the online meetup group "Los Angeles (formerly Billings) TG Meetup" group with over 700 members and well over 1000 scheduled meetups over the past decade.

She currently practices medicine locally and also does travel medicine, while living a bigender lifestyle.
