2026 Participant Biographies

Marianne Faulkner (any/all pronouns) is an internationally recognized corsetiere. She is known in the lingerie community for her corset-centric writing and design work, and presence as a founding fellow for the Oxford Conference of Corsetry. Marianne has worked at Dark Garden Corsetry since 2008 and was mentored in the craft by founder Autumn Adamme, known worldwide as the Godmother of Modern Corsetry. Now Creative Director, Marianne’s passion for the field and the company is built upon her love of corsetry as a means through which one can explore and express identity in many forms. Her approach to fitting all body types and sizes is equally informed by comfort, aesthetics, and mechanics of both the human form and the garment itself.
