2023 Participant Biographies
S. Lisa Smith is a 73 year old dual gender person. To her, being dual gender means she has a strong female side that she loves and a strong male side that she loves as well. When she is presenting as her male self (which is most of the time), Lisa is always there as well. She has been told by cisgendered women friends that she has the best of both worlds and she feels that she does. She loves reaching out to cisgendered folks and educating them about the huge transgendered umbrella. She has attended and volunteered at The Keystone Conference for many years, has been in the fashion show at First Event and is active on a Facebook fashion group that is made up of primarily cisgendered women. She is a proud member of The Vanity Club, a service and social organization for trans women. She is fortunate that she has a supportive wife who gives her space to be Lisa although her wife does not want to meet Lisa in person.
