2023 Participant Biographies
Laura Stone obtained a professional education in fine arts before pursuing a career that could enable her to feed a family. Building on a lifelong interest in the arts, she decided to share her own critical perspectives on art with anyone who would listen. She presented a program on Transgender Themes in Art twice at Fantasia Fair. So far, the response has been enthusiastic. To increase the number of places where she could comfortably and safely pee, she recently joined a team of researchers at the University at Buffalo to advance the development of inclusive restrooms, that is, restrooms that are designed around the premise that everyone needs a good place to go.
Keystone Conference is operated by TransCentralPA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization - contributions to which are tax deductible to fullest extent permitted by law.
