2023 Participant Biographies
Amy Harlacher is a Licensed Professional Counselor with almost 15 years of clinical experience. She completed her undergraduate degree in Religion-Philosophy and Humanities from Roberts Wesleyan College and earned a Master’s degree in Counseling from Shippensburg University. She received post-graduate training in Couples and Family Counseling and has completed the Level 3 Training and Practicum in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Ms. Harlacher has worked in community mental health and independent practice, as well as with students at Dickinson College. She recently left a private group practice to join the pediatric and adolescent Gender Health Clinic at Penn State Health, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, serving the needs of transgender and gender-diverse children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. She is an active member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) and is currently pursuing certification.
