Rick Matash, LCSW earned his bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Franciscan University, Steubenville, OH. Rick worked as a houseparent for Boys Hope of Northeast Ohio before returning to PA where he earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Marywood University. He has worked as a psychotherapist and as a behavior specialist working with children/adolescents. He was an ICM Supervisor for the CMSU county mental health system for 7 years. Rick joined the Wilkes Barre VAMC in September, 2008 where he serves as the Post 9/11 Program Manager and LGBTQ+ Veteran Care Coordinator.
