2023 Participant Biographies

 
Mx. Trinitee Wilson
They/Them/Theirs

Mx. Trinitee is a transplant to Philadelphia from Rochester, NY where their work with BIPOC TLGB folx began. For the last 17 years, their career journey has given them the priviledge of working with folx who are at highest risk for HIV acquisition and their siblings in the fight who are living with HIV/AIDS. Since relocating to Philadelphia, they’ve continued their career journey while working at local organizations doing more direct service work including faciliating Bebashi - Transition to Hope’s Melanin Magic -a safe space for folx of trans experience and gender non-conforming persons and fellowship. In May 2021, they started their grass-roots organization BLAQ5683 LLC (BLAQLOVE). Through BLAQLOVE, Trinitee has continued the work by providing members with services related to Workforce Development including cover letter & resume enhancement, dressing for success, your rights as BIPOC & Trans individuals in the workplace and interview dos & don’ts. Trinitee presently serves as one of the Leaders of the Pennsylvania Coalition for Trans Youth Committee and in September spoke at the United States Conference on HIV in Puerto Rico.
