2023 Participant Biographies
Becky Cox-Davenport was born in Pittsburgh and moved to eastern Pennsylvania six years ago. She graduated from Millersville University with a family nurse practitioner post-masters certificate in 2021. Her other degrees in nursing include a Ph.D. in Nursing from UNLV, a Master's degree in Nursing Education from Waynesburg University, a BSN from the University of Pittsburgh, and a diploma from Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing. Becky has been volunteering with the teens in the Common Roads program for the LGBT Center of Central PA since 2017, and as a volunteer nurse with Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) of Lebanon County since 2019. Prior to Alder health, Becky had been teaching nursing, and has also taught middle and high school sexual health education classes, and worked as a nurse in a teen outreach.
