2026 Participant Biographies

Lisa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the parent of a transgender child. Lisa has been a therapist in private practice since 2021, specializing in the provision of trauma and Transgender/Gender Diverse services. Lisa’s work with the T/GD population began during her employment in a Residential Treatment Program in 2014. Her experience continued to develop with employment in the Integrated Behavioral Health and Private Practice Settings. She is published with Drs. Alex Redcay and Paul Felker in the Journal of Residential Treatment of Children and Youth on the topic of treatment of transgender and gender diverse youth in the residential setting. Lisa received her undergraduate degree in Child Development and Family Relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She received her Master’s in Social Work from Millersville University. Lisa has been providing services in the clinical setting for 15 years.
