2023 Participant Biographies

Ms. Stacie New

She/Her/Hers

Stacie is a long standing member of TransCentralPA and ally of the LGBTQ+ community. She became part of the Harrisburg transgender/non-binary community as she assisted her parent (Maggie New) in her transition and has been an active ally ever since. She has seen her parent through several gender-affirming surgeries and provided emotional support throughout the many stages of her transformation, giving Stacie intimate experience with the many facets of gender identity and transition. She is a disability adjudicator for the State of Pennsylvania and has earned her MBA from Wilkes University with a BS in Business from Penn State.
