2023 Participant Biographies
I am married, a retired US Marine, a certified life coach, and a government civil servant. I am a spouse, parent, hunter, car mechanic, and infantry combat veteran. I just happen to also be transgender. My wife and I have four amazing children and work every day to make our way down this path of transition together. I began my medical and legal transition just over a year ago in early 2022, and first opened myself to the possibility of being my true self over 5 years ago. I have quite a story. I am a professor of defense systems acquisition, teaching program management for the Department of Defense in my day job. I run a transformational and transitional life coaching business as a certified Dream Builder too, which is my true passion. I serve those who want help identifying the limits and constraints that are keeping them from being their best and living their best life.
